Bringing together business leaders, government officials, students, and educators from Mississippi and across the Nation, the Mississippi State University, College of Business Leadership Summit offers an opportunity for aspiring executives and motivated professionals to meet and discuss the most relevant topics facing businesses today.

 

History

The first MSU Leadership Summit was held in September 2007 in an effort to increase awareness of current and emerging leadership challenges in Mississippi and the region, and move our institution into a stronger leadership role in the business community. Among the speakers in our first two years have been Richard Adkerson, CEO of Freeport MacMoran, Ralph Crosby, CEO of EADS North America, and Jim Newsome, CEO of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Last year, over 4,500 business and community leaders, students and faculty joined us in the Humphrey Coliseum to listen to General COlin Powell's keynote address.
